Fun in the Sun Chapter 4 AN

Wow! Thank you guys so much for the reviews! I am amazed! I noticed chapter 3 brought up a lot of questions, so I wanted to bring up some of them here.

Pairing: Sorry guys, but I'm not sure what it will be. YES- once I decide I will tell you. I know some of you are not going to read anymore because I haven't decided. Sorry, but I feel it's doing a disservice to the story itself if I decide a pairing and write this particular story around it rather than allowing this story to unfold as it wants. This fic started as a sudden idea, and I never had an idea for a pairing. It's literally created itself in my opinion, and I think my writing would suffer if I were to stop and choose. Sorry.

Cliffhangers: I know, I suck! I honestly don't intend to create cliff hangers, it just happens. I'm sorry!

OMG, they made out!: Yes, they did. You guys I am sure were all like, WTF?, what happened! That's what chapter 4 explains. As for the way I wrote chapter 3, it just came out like that.

Rory's attitude/ personality/OC: Yes, she's partying. It's Spring Break. She's living a little. Some people have a little issue with the way I wrote it. I just wanted a real Spring Break fic.

Reviewer i_die_without_you says it best: Dude, people do unexpected things during Spring Break. I've heard the stories when I was sitting in my dorm common room studying.

Why is Logan pissed?: He still loves her. They haven't been broken up that long.

Happy Birthday To Me!

Well, I'm officially 20!

For my birthday my husband took me to get my nose pierced. I got a tiny stud in the left side. I like it, but it's still really sore.

I got calls from family today, and also talked to a few friends. All in all it's been a pretty good birthday.

Good Bye To My Teen Years...

Well, this is it. My official goodbye to my teen years. In less than half an hour it will be midnight, and I'll be 20.

It's freaky knowing that a big part of what I still call my childhood is going to be over forever. It's kind of like the end of an era I suppose.

19 has been a good year. In fact, it's been a great year. I have changed a lot, and really grown up. I've gained independance. I hope 20 will be an even better year.

So long teen years!

Why my updates are slow...

I was asked by a few readers why my updates have been slow lately. Honestly, I've just been so busy! I'm in the process of elections for student government. I have a husband who just returned home from Iraq last month. I didn't see him for six months.

I'm a full time college student. I have tests and papers and quizzes and homework. I'm trying to keep my GPA up. I also have friends that I like to hang out with whenever I get a chance, and I've been working out a bit lately.

So, that's why my updates are slow. Honestly, I don't think waiting for a few weeks for an update is too bad... some authors go months without updating. Life just gets in the way sometimes. I try to write as much as I can, and I appreciate everyone who reads my work, whether they review or not. It's just I'm not always able to update every week, even though I do try. If I'm not in the mood to write, then I don't. I made the mistake a few years ago of writing all the time, even when I didn't want to, just to get a chapter done. I ended up feeling like it was a chore, so I stopped writing until last year. I'd rather enjoy writing than give it up because I'm tired of it.

Yikes! Where does time go?

All month I've been freaking out, since my birthday is on the 29th. I don't want to turn 20. I'm happy with 19.

For the past six (almost seven) years I've been a teenager. I'm happy being a teenager. Sure, I'm married & in college, but I still feel like a kid. Now, I'm be 20. Just the sound of it is different. No teen at the end. Instead, there's a ty at the end. Nineteen, now twenty. It's freaky. I mean, now, I have to face facts. I'm an adult. It's the end of an era. Ok, ok, so I've been an adult for almost 2 whole years. But I was still a teen. I feel like my childhood is forever ending, and that is a scary though.

Well, at least I still have tomorrow until I'm a "grown up". Shudder.

AN for Needing You

Thank you guys so much for the reviews! This is one of my favorite fic ideas right now.

I just wanted to address something here.

Rory and Finn will not get together immediatly. It will be a slow process. She just lost her husband... she needs to recover.

Finn will be there for her, but yes, it will be a long fic, and it will take them a long time to get together.

Also, updates for this fic will most likely be slow. I know what I want to happen, but it's a really, really hard fic to write. I mean, I love writing it, but it's very emotional... and it's hard to get into a mood to write it. Don't ever think this fic is dead, though. It's not. It'll be updated when you least expect it.

Answers for Fun in the Sun

I've gotten tons of reviews (thank you! thank you! thank you!) for Fun in the Sun, but a few questions. I'll answer them here as they come up.

1. The pairing: I don't know what it will be! It's a Trogan, but who will it ultimately be? I dunno. Sit back and enjoy the ride kids. I haven't a clue as to the pairing. Sorry if this inconveniences anyone (this story is sort of writing itself, if you know what I mean).

2. Q: are you going to have rory being really ooc by dressing skimpy all the time? cause there is a people can look good without dressy skimpy.
A: I'm going to have her dress like a 21 year old on Spring Break. She's hurting from a break-up; licking her wounds, so to speak. How would you act & dress if you were in her situation and your ex was around? I'd sure as hell flaunt what I've got... and let him see what he's missing. ;) Usually I go about writing more to the true character, but this is fun, and flirty, and vengeful, and a Spring Break fic. I thought it should be written in the true spirit of Spring Break.
As for people looking good without dressing like that, I whole-heartedly agree! I just thought it would make for more of a "wild Spring Break" type fic this way.

Grrr... FF.net trouble... again

Well... I finally got off my ass and wrote.

I have a new chapter of Solutions and a new chapter of BBB done.

BBB was kinda done to begin with, but I didn't like how abrupt the chapter was, so I rewrote it, and I really, really like this chapter.

If only I could post it! FF.net isn't letting me upload documents at the moment. It's truly frustrating. Readers have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for new chapters of these stories, and now that I have them, they have to wait some more!

Hey everyone! Sorry the updates have been slow lately. Things have been hectic.

I (finally) updated Always There. Not my best chapter by far, but the next one will be better! It should be out on Tuesday.

Fun in the Sun- Also updated. Next chapter will be out sometime this week.

Hidden Past- I started the next chapter. About 100 words so far, lol! I just wasn't in a writing sort of mood when I tried to write it, but hopefully I'll do it tonight and post it either tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully.

BBB- I'm working on it! I promise. This is going to be one of those chapters that I'm going to have to just sit and type and type and delete and type until it works out. I hate it when that happens.

Everything Changes- Next chapter was started last week, it's just things have been to crazy to allow me time to work on it.

Solutions- I haven't worked on this in forever. I'll work on it soon, I promise!

Everything else will be updated once updates for the ones listed above have been posted. Unless I feel like writing a chapter because the inspiration bug bites me.

I dealt with a family emergency and some other things this week, which is why I have had no time to write.

I had a huge business test yesterday, and tonight I need to study for Psych and write a History paper.

I also need to get started on my term paper, which is due on the 2nd. So school has been crazzzzyy!

But I do promise that Always There will be updated either tomorrow, or Saturday at the very latest. I also intend to write another chapter of Hidden Past and maybe rewrite the next chapter of BBB. (It's mostly done, but it sucks, so I'm rewriting it). Hopefully, I'll get more done than just that, but I intend to get at least three new chapters of fics out, ok? Fun in the Sun: Trory or Rogan?

Oh my God! I asked readers opinions, and let me tell you, I got a bunch of replies! But the thing is- it's equal! Seriously, within three votes of each other.

I really can't make up my mind with the pairing (I have four or five chapters written already) so I'm thinking I can do like an alternate ending deal with the last couple chapters.... write it two diff ways, one for Trory's & one for Rogan's fans. I don't like that idea much, but it's all I have. Indecision is a bitch.

It's not so much unrealistic in my opinion, as it is just getting caught up in the whole crazy-ness that is Spring Break.

Ok, I updated Fun in the Sun, and Hidden Past. Right now I'm looking through my fics to decide what to update next. As for Saga, don't expect an update anytime soon. These long chapters annoy me, and take forever to write- mainly because Saga is my favorite one to write and I can't stop once I start!

So, hopefully something else will be updated tonight. If not, updates by Tuesday for sure.

Fun in the Sun

I posted the first chapter of my new Trogan!

I actually have 2 chapters of it done, and am working on the third. I do not know if it's going to be a Trory or a Rogan. I will be asking the readers and taking their opinions into account, but I don't know which one I will ultimately choose. I hate it when writers do that, because I hate reading a fic, and then it turns out to be for the couple I don't like. Perhaps I'll do an alternate ending, so everyone's happy. Who knows. Making Some Changes...

Hey everyone!

I'm making some changes here at my blog. The biggest change is that I'll no longer archive most my stories here. I'll still have my fics on the side bar, but now the summary page will have links to the story & chapters at ff.net.

The One Shots will still be here, the same as always.

For now, that's the only real change I'll be making. This also means that all my fics will go on ff.net from now on. So I'll be posting Lost & Needing You there tonight, also.

I'm Evil...

I started another story.

It's a Trogan (I think). Anyways, it's just something that came to me. I think I'll actually finish it pretty fast though. Like, a chapter every few days or so. So that's the good news. I'm half done with the first chapter, and I intend to write a few more chapters later today for it.

I'm also about 6 pages into Saga. It's another long chapter, so it will take a while.

Next chapter of BBB is almost done.

I started chapter 3 of Hidden Past.

I know what's going to happen in the next chapter of Always There, and Solutions will be written sometime this week.

I also started chapter 3 of Everything Changes. Today I think I'm going to catch up on everything, or at least get a little of everything done. All my stories (except Saga) will be updated within the next week.

I am so incredibly pissed.

Yes, I do have a lot of fics going right now. Sure, I don't update daily or anything. I actually have a life. But, I do take time out of my life to write.

Now, I realize that I just write fan fics. Yeah, the characters are borrowed from shows. But, that doesn't mean another "author" (Yes, I use that term lightly in this case) can go look at the latest chapter of one of my fics, say, "Hey, that looks funny! I think I'll use that same exact idea in my own fic." (And by same exact idea I'm talking actual wording here, people).

Usually, I'll just brush something off as a coincidence. However, seeing as there is pretty damn close wording, I don't see how I can. In this case, I would probably be slightly annoyed, but not pissed, if the other writer didn't review my story and tell me how much they enjoyed it. God, if you're going to copy someone's idea (Not talking storyline idea here, actual words and things in chapters) at least act like you didn't see it first in the other persons fic. Damn.

Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant. Perhaps, rather than being pissed that someone chose to copy parts of my fic, I should be flattered that they liked mine enough to try to pass it off as their own.

Besides, it's not as if it's a huge, life changing deal. It's just my fics, not my original work (Which I've hesitated in posting at fiction press because I've had a problem with someone years ago stealing my original work). But still, that's somehow not much comfort... oh well. Enough of my ranting & bitching.

BBB Chapter 5 Long AN

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for the wonderful reviews! I love them all!

I am posting a long AN here because I thought a couple things needed to be... answered... and I don't like putting really long AN's in stories.

1. Yes, the chapters are short. I know guys, and I hate that... but I'll never get any chapters out- ever- if they're not. For some reason, I have tons of ideas for this story, I just can't write long chapters for it. I'll continue to try to make them longer, but I make no promises. When I try to write BBB chapters longer, they just kinda drag on. Sorry. :(

2. Arranged Marriages: Are they legal? Technically- No. Someone can't force you to marry someone else. HOWEVER; if they don't get married, they lose all their money. Really, you have millions at your fingertips (not to mention your college tuition), what would you do?

3. Rory's attitude: Yes, I made her a spoiled little brat. Why? Because I like the dynamic of her & Tristan being forced to marry each other when they've done total switches personality wise. I am making Rory the way she is for a reason. Trust me.

Thank you guys soooooo much for the reviews; especially the ones that call me out on being unrealistic. It forces me to try to make it better, and I appreciate it. I love all reviews, especially constructive criticism.

A Past Life Character's Summary

I hope this clears everything up. Please tell me if you're still confused!

Lorelai Leigh Gilmore Hayden: In Boston, she goes by Rory Hayden. She's the Hayden heiress. When she was a baby her mother abandoned her and her twin brother, leaving them with Christopher. Christopher is every bit a business man. He raised the children with the help of nannies and his parent's until they moved out at 15. Rory moved in with her mother at 15, yet she still comes home to Boston during the summers. She was always very close to Straub and Francine. They loved her and Josh more than anything in the world. She always knows no matter what she can depend on her best friends, especially Josh and Jake.

Joshua Michael Gilmore Hayden: He is Rory's twin brother. He has the same blue eyes and dark hair she does. He hates his mother for abandoning them, and refuses to consider himself a Gilmore. He is best friends with Jake.

Jake Pittman: He is Josh's best friend and Rory's ex. He has sandy colored hair and green eyes. He is the most athletic of the group. He and Rory dated for two years, until he broke up with her so she would move in with Lorelai. He knew she was unhappy with her father, and he also knew she would never leave while they were dating. Even though they were broken up, he has always been her rock. After the Dean fiasco he was the one there for her since they were in Boston for the summer together. His family has known the Gilmore's for years, so they were always close.

Shannon O'Leary: A tall, fiery red head with green eyes. She is from Ireland, and considers herself exotic. She enjoys her alcohol, and is always up for an adventure. She moved from Ireland to Boston in 5th grade, and was befriended by the other five. Her parents, much like the other's parent's, are very disfunctional.

Clemency Hines: A short, bubbly blonde haired brown eyed socialite. She wants a career and won't let anything stop her, not even her old fashioned parents. Clem, as her friends know her, became a member of their "group" when she was six months old, and went on her first play date with Rory.

Shaun Colten: A blonde haired blue eyed guy. He moved from San Francisco when he was in 3rd grade, and played on Josh and Jake's little league team. From that time on, he was always in their little group. He has a rep as being a player, but would never let anyone or anything hurt one of his friends.

What They Wanted

I wrote a Cory one shot called What They Wanted. It's really a beautiful yet bittersweet fic. I kinda want to write a sequel, but... I already know what the sequel will have, and there's a possibility that it will turn into a longer fic... so I don't want that. I don't know though.

Working on Lost...

Hey everyone!

I finally got some inspiration for Lost, my Trory fic. I know where I'm going with this fic now! YAY! I wrote about half of the third chapter earlier, and revised the other two chapters (slightly). I plan on working on it more tonight, and hopefully getting at least three chapters done tonight. If so, I'll post it on ff.net.

I wrote half of a chapter of Bound By Business, but it's going bye bye. I hate how I wrote it, so it's back to the beggining with it.

I really, really need to work on Always There, since my deadline for a new chappy is Tuesday. Yes, I promise I will work on it and have a chapter posted on Tuesday.

Saga's gonna be a while. It's a long chapter, and rather than working on it for a few days strait and ending up with 26 or 27 pages like last time, I want to take my time. But I know what's going to happen. Here's a hint: The chapter title is Summer of Secrets! That will have to hold you over. But seriously, it's my fav. to work on, so maybe I'll work on it soon.

Solutions will be updated soon, as will Hidden Past. Needing You is on the back burner, but I have half a chapter done, so who knows.

About: Solutions

Ok, I have gotten soooo many wonderful reviews for Solutions. I thank you all for them! I love the reviews! However, there are a few things I want to clear up.

1. A few people showed concerns that Solutions is unrealistic. Yep, I'll agree. I don't see it happening on the show. That's why I wrote it. It's Fiction. First, Rory is not giving up her dreams. No way, no how. She will still finish college. At Yale? No. But then again, Yale was never originally in "The Plan." Harvard was. So what's the big deal about a school change? She & Logan simply felt this was the best way to be together. She is not giving up as editor; at the end of the school year she is simply moving to London with him. She is still finishing this year at Yale.

2. Rory is not going to get pregnant! You can all sigh in collective relief. That's waayyyyyy too much drama for this fic.

3. This is a fluff fic. Yeah, it has it's dramatic moments- hello, Huntzbergers & Gilmores, need I say more?- but all in all, it's a happy, sappy, fluffy fic.

4. The wedding: Vegas. I chose this because alone Rory is careful and planned, but together with Logan she is spontanious. It wasn't all romantic and elegant, it was fun and spontanious. It was Rogan! The only reason why I didn't make it a more romantic (yet still private) ceremony was because I like the email thing that the chapel offers. I thought them finding out through email would be... funny. I didn't add Lorelai there because I don't think she would call Lorelai. Look at it from this angle: Rory is marrying a guy Lorelai has shown deep reservations and concerns about. Obviously, she would not have given her blessing to her daughter marrying so young. Rory simply wanted to be with Logan, and felt this would be the best way.

5. Lane. Why didn't she recieve an email or phone call? Off the record: Because I'm an idiot who must have temporarily lost her brain because I forgot about her. On the record: She's on tour. She calls & checks on Rory from time to time, but doesn't have a cell phone or lap top with her.

Anyways, I hope this answers all your pressing questions. If you still have a question, feel free to ask it in a review, PM me, or leave a comment and I'll answer it. Remember: I started this fic because I didn't think Rogan would last after this season (sadly) and I love them together. This is my way of giving them a happy ending, even if it doesn't happen on the show.

Hey everyone!

Ok, so I have gotten some emails & such about some of my characters in my fics, and how they're OC & such. I agree. In some of my fics, my characters are somewhat OC. But I have my reasons. So... what I'm going to do is over the next couple days post a run down of my fics & characters in fics & why they are how they are.

Solutions chapter 5 is up!

Hey everyone. I finally have chapter 5 of Solutions up. It's not the most interesting or the best chapter. It's just a filler. But, it's something in the meantime while you're all waiting for the families reactions. Don't worry, the Gilmore's are for sure in the next chapter.

Anyways, It's a filler because I'm exhausted- I drove a friend to the airport (an hour and a half away) and then came back, cooked, and did six loads of laundry. Then I did two annotated bibliographies for a paper for English class, and wrote a quick paper for my Business class. I'm exhausted, and now I'm going to make my bed and go to sleep.

Bound By Business

Chapter 3 is up! Finally!

I wrote half of it last week, and forgot about it! When I saw how long it was since it's been updated I felt guilty... so I finished chapter 3.

I'm in the process of writing chapter 1 of a GG/OC crossover right now. It should be up later tonight.

Hidden Past

I started a new fic! It's actually a reply to a challenge!

It's the A Past Life Challenge from Holly at Illusive. Here's the challenge:

Rory is in her junior year at yale, she never stole the boat. She and logan are broken up but since she is livng with Finn and Colin they have agreed to friends.Even though they both still have feelings for each other. Rory has a secret past that she never told any of her friends about. When lorelai had her and her twin brother at 16 Rory and her brother grew up with christopher until they were 15. They are very close. At 15 rory and her brother were tired of their dad never being there for them so rory moved in with her mom and her brother went to boarding school. Rory and her brother spent every summer with their dad and grandparents on their dads side they are very close with their hayden grandparents but though they spend the summer with their dad aren't very friendly with him. What will happen when the death of grandma hayden brings all of the people from rory's other life came together at hartford for the funeral, and logan will see a whole new side of rory through all of her friends, relatives and ex boyfriends that show up to support rory.

Another New Fic...

I wrote a Lane One shot called I Don't, I Can't. It's up at ff.net. I will possibly write a one shot sequel to it.

I had a bit of time to update some of my stories. I finally know what's going to happen with Always There! I just need to get motivated enough to actually write it.

I started the next chapter of Saga. Yes, it's another loooonnngggg one. I have it all planned out- the writing will just take a while. Plenty of angst. A few unexpected turns. And reprecussions that will carry on to the next chapter... and effect the rest of the fic. That's your spoiler for the next chappy!

Anyways, it will probably take me a while, unless Reginald decides to bug me.

I'm working on a Christopher/Lorelai/Luke fic. I really, really like it. But, it won't be a Luke & Lorelai in the end. I just can't write them together. Not to mention he's pissing me off on the show right now.

The fic is about what happens when Lorelai helps Christopher with Gigi. I'm completely excited about it. I'm a big Christopher & Lorelai fan now. Not sure how that happened... probably somewhere along the lines of Luke being an ass.

Anyways, Bound By Business is being worked on. I know what is going to happen for this chapter, and part of next chapter. I just need to type it out and add details.

I'm not sure about Solutions. I obviously have to have an armageddon-esque scene with the Huntzberger's... I just need to figure it out. It will mostly be a fluffy fic, cause I'm sick of Rogan angst on the show.

Hey everyone!

Today after school I'll be working on Saga and Bound By Business. I know exactly what is going to happen in Saga, but BBB is something that I just sorta came up with... so of course I have no idea what to do!

I'll probably have a new chappy of Saga up within a few days at the most... but BBB may take me a while. I need to brainstorm on it a bit. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I am open to listening to them!

I have a couple one shots I'm working on, also.

There's a new fic I'm dying to write... but I'm making myself not. I actually have a couple chappys done of it... it's a Trogan. I usually write either Rogan's or Trory's, so a Trogan is new for me.

Basically, Rory joins the LDB, but after the whole yacht incident, she ends up transferring to Harvard, where she joins a secret society. Any guesses on who's in this society? I'll give you a hint, he's hot, blonde, and not Logan.

Anyways, while in this society there starts a battle of sorts between the societys. Rory is kinda caught in the middle, since she's LDB and in the other society (I don't know the name of it yet... that's one reason I haven't posted it yet).

I have about 6 WIP's, just for GG. Then I have about 4 or 5 non GG (Which I don't hardly ever work on anymore)... so I'm trying not to get too overloaded in writing, but then I get all these other ideas... so I start a new one! Eek!
